Welcome to **XNAT**, the Medical Imaging Archive of TechMed Centre of the University of Twente.

XNAT is an open source software package, developed by the Neuroinformatics Research Group at Washington University. XNAT is an imaging informatics platform designed for management, productivity, and quality assurance tasks for imaging and associated data, particularly DICOM images.

The version behind this login screen is installed and managed **on University of Twente premises**. Your account and other data in XNAT are managed according to security standards and protocols. The UT network storage is **ISO 27001** and **NEN 7510** certified.

By creating an account, you agree to the use of a limited set of personal data needed for registration and you agree to the terms of use. This software is designed for the management of Imaging Data and related data, usually of a health / human / medical nature.
Imaging data of humans are personal data as referred to in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), unless images are blurred and modified to the extent that no identification is possible. Data accompanying the images may also contain (pseudonymized) personal data.
Any of these data indicating a person's health status are special categories of personal data. These ask for strict privacy and security measures.
By using this system you agree to handle these data according to the GDPR and the UT's and S&T's faculty Research Data Management (RDM)-policy.
